Everything you need to know, from your very first catch to your first high score.
Candy falls from the top of the screen. Your basket sits at the bottom. Move the basket left and right to catch the candy before it reaches the floor.
Every catch adds to the progress bar at the top of the screen. Fill the bar and the round is complete โ you move on to the next round with your score and lives intact.
If you miss a piece of candy, nothing happens at first. But candy that falls past your basket without being caught costs you a life. Lose all your lives and the round ends.
Touch anywhere on the screen and drag. The basket follows your finger horizontally โ you do not need to touch the basket itself.
Move your mouse across the game area. The basket follows the pointer. You can also use the left and right arrow keys.
There is no catch button and no jump. The entire game is played with one finger or one hand, which makes it comfortable to play one-handed on public transport or while lying down.
Each piece of candy is worth points, and harder-to-reach candy is worth more. The score you build during a round is added to your total when you finish it.
Your score carries across rounds within a single run. If you lose all your lives, the run ends and your final score is recorded โ but your progress is saved, so you can continue from where you stopped rather than starting over.
Catching candy in quick succession builds a combo. The combo counter appears in the corner of the screen and rises as long as you keep catching without missing.
Combos are the single biggest source of score in the game. A long, clean combo is worth far more than the same number of catches spread out over a messy round. If you are chasing a high score, protecting your combo matters more than catching every single piece of candy.
Every few rounds, you will get a bonus round instead of a normal one. These work differently: you are shown one specific type of item, and you must catch only that item.
Everything else on screen during a bonus round is a decoy. Catching the wrong item breaks your combo and resets your bonus progress. The target item is clearly marked, and a counter at the bottom of the screen shows how many you have caught out of the total needed.
Bonus rounds finish the round as soon as you reach the target count, so a clean bonus round is fast. They are also a good source of coins.
Bombs look like dark spheres with a lit fuse. They fall at the same speed as candy but are surrounded by a red ring to make them obvious.
Catching a bomb costs you a life immediately โ there is no partial penalty. Missing a bomb, on the other hand, costs you nothing at all. Bombs are one of the few things in the game you actively want to let fall past you.
Bombs become more common as you progress. In the early rounds they are rare enough to ignore; later on, they are the main thing keeping you alert.
Catches the next bomb for you, so you survive one mistake. Best saved for a moment when several bombs are on screen at once.
Multiplies every point you earn for a short window. Time it with a long combo and the score jumps fast.
Rare pickups that grant extra lives. They appear more often the longer a run goes on.
There are fifteen baskets to unlock. Some are unlocked by reaching a certain round; others can be bought with coins earned by playing.
Baskets are purely cosmetic. They change how the basket looks, not how it behaves โ every basket catches exactly the same. Pick whichever you like the look of.
Coins come from finishing rounds, from bonus rounds, and from a free spin you can take once a day.
Missions are long-running goals that track in the background while you play. They include things like catching a certain total number of items, reaching a specific combo, completing bonus rounds, and collecting coins.
Completing a mission pays out coins. Missions are entirely optional โ the game plays exactly the same if you ignore them โ but they give a long-running run something to aim at beyond the score.
You start each run with three lives. Missing candy or catching a bomb costs one. When your lives reach zero, the run ends and your score is saved.
You can continue from your saved progress at any time, so a bad run costs you score, not progress. Your best score and best round are kept separately and shown on the game-over screen.
Progress is saved on your device automatically, even without an account. If you want your progress to follow you between devices, sign in with Google โ your round, score and best results will sync through the cloud.
Playing as a guest is completely supported. The only difference is that guest progress stays on one device.
